Bettina Guckler and Thomas Klingberg present portraits at Kunstpunkte 2026
Under the title “The Hidden in the Portrait”, Bettina Guckler (painting and graphic art) and Thomas Klingberg (photography) present a joint body of work at studio KuDu.
The exhibition focuses on people, their stories, and the question of what lies beyond the visible. In her paintings and graphic works, Bettina Guckler explores thoughts, emotions, and inner states. Her works open spaces for personal and social reflection, making the invisible perceptible.
Thomas Klingberg approaches the same subject matter through photography, focusing on social realities and individual challenges. His works tell stories of people in their life situations, shaped by breaks, questions, and transitions.
Although both artists work with different forms of expression, they share a common interest: engaging with social themes and exploring how art can create dialogue and open new perspectives.
They have already exhibited together at Kunstpunkte 2025. With “The Hidden in the Portrait”, they continue their artistic exchange.
