Construction site on Oberwallstraße in Berlin Mitte
From the exhibition project “Bildsprachen/Sprachbilder – Berlin City Views”
Text by Petrus Akkordeon:
we are building a new city
from beauty
and dirt
Smile the scars away
are not completed
only from skin
never a rose garden
there is no sticking pollen
on our dancing shoes
which are not made for it
for nothing
and we dance with it
and we’re building a rat town
and above it a city of pigeon bread < br /> and when it rains
we swim in our own filth
but scream at us love
in our concreted ears hoarse
until the last
sky
